If you have been injured on the job, I invite you to call me or email me to start a discussion about your case. Of course everything you tell me about your injury remains confidential – no one at your job or any insurance company will find out from me that we have spoken.
During our initial phone or email conversation, I will advise you what I think about your claim and whether I believe I can help you. Sometimes it does not make sense to involve a lawyer and I will tell you that. In other cases, we may decide that we are not a good fit for one another.
In those cases where I feel I can help you and if you’d like to hire me, I will mail or email to you a number of forms I will need signed so that I can begin work. I cannot formally begin work as your lawyer until I get a signed retainer agreement and other forms back.
By the way, I represent my client under a contingency fee contract – this means that there is no attorney’s fee unless I recover a lump sum settlement for you. I do not ask for a percentage of your weekly wage benefits while your case is on-going – my fee only comes at the end if we settle.
I am also a very hands on lawyer. You will work with and speak with me on a constant basis while your case is in progress. I do employ two paralegals who can answer some questions and who are available during the day, but all significant decisions about your case will arise from discussions you have with me personally.
I have represented injured workers on Georgia for over 25 years. Prior to representing injured workers, I worked at an insurance defense firm that represented employers and insurance companies, so I know how our opposition thinks and acts. I am also very knowledgeable about the skills and reputation of just about every doctor in Georgia who accepts workers’ compensation patients, and I use this knowledge to help my clients get high quality medical care.
If you have not done so already, I invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel where you can see and hear me discuss many Georgia workers’ compensation issues.
Finally, if you’d like to speak with me now, please use the email form on this page or call me at 770-351-0801.
